ABOUT

Hey, I’m Nicholas Kingman, and I’m passionate about engineering and improving the operational efficiency of amusement parks. My journey has been driven by a curiosity to understand how systems work and how they can be optimized to create better experiences for both guests and operators.

As a student engineer, I’m particularly interested in how engineering solutions can enhance ride operations, improve safety, and streamline the guest experience. Whether it’s reducing wait times, optimizing ride throughput, or implementing new technologies, I want to find ways to make amusement parks more efficient and enjoyable for everyone involved.

Through my internship in ride operations at Busch Gardens, I’ve seen firsthand how important it is to balance efficiency with guest satisfaction. I’m excited about the potential of using engineering to make parks run more smoothly, ensuring that guests have an unforgettable experience while maximizing operational performance.

Outside of my studies, I’m always exploring parks and analyzing how they operate, from ride mechanics to guest flow. I’m fascinated by the technology and systems that power these experiences and eager to apply what I’ve learned to contribute to the future of theme park operations.

In my future career, I’m excited to use my skills in engineering to optimize park operations, enhance safety, and make sure that visitors have the best experience possible, all while keeping things running efficiently behind the scenes.
